"Today was
Sofie's first day at obedience class, although
it was really just for the owners. She had a
really big time.
Sofie's personality showed up today, and
we were really proud of her. Our homework for
this week was to teach Sofie her name and get
her to come to us.
As you are probably aware, she is way
ahead of that game.
She is consistently using her liter box,
sits and stays upon command, and is getting
pretty good at letting us "pick her up”.
A Month later.
. . Sofie has learned to sit, stay, down, come,
"let me pick you up", and "no" very well -
really without much help from the class.
She is also using her liter box at least
95% or more of the time.
We are very happy with her progress.
Our vet really likes Sofie.
He was impressed when Sofie obeyed all of
my commands in front of him - twice in a row.
Anyway, things
are going great.
We were previously impressed with your
obvious talent to breed good puppies, and each
day that goes by just proves that you are the
"BEST".
We consider her completely potty trained
to the litter box, and she has full access to
the house including upstairs."

"Lindsy is still
perfection and
getting even
better each day.
She loves to go
on walks with me
and can do a
brisk two mile
now without
having to be
carried! She is
such a happy,
healthy and cute
little thing -
she's
contagious! I'm
trying to talk
my husband into
another should
you happen to
"clone" her
mother again!
I'll keep in
touch and
PROMISE to
overload you
with pictures as
soon as I
can!"

"This
dog thinks that
she is people,
and she is
spoiled rotten.
Don't let that
sweet innocent
look fool you.
She misses
nothing and gets
constant
attention. Last
time I had her
to the vet she
weighed just
under 5 pounds,
but I am sure
she is a bit
heavier now. If
a bag rattles
she is there, if
I cook she is
there, and if
you are out of
her sight for a
bit she will
sniff you to
make sure you
haven't eaten
anything on the
sly. She has
discovered that
there is more to
life than dog
food, and so a
tiny treat of
cheese is just
the greatest
thing since
doggie treats.
In fact we don't
have to say
"sit" to her
anymore, she
will
automatically
sit and as soon
as she gobbles
it down she is
back on all
fours. So much
for the "stay"
command where
you open your
hand and kinda
put it towards
her face, ha,
ha, she jumps at
your hand like
"oh boy here is
another
game"........she
has a blue
rubber ball that
is about the
size of a tennis
ball and she
will butt it
with her nose
and if you bump
it back to her
she will play a
sort of a tennis
match with you,
this goes on
while I am
trying to cook
and it is a
wonder I don't
kill myself when
we go through
this on a daily
basis. If that
ball goes
anywhere where
she can't get it
then she will
bark till we
jump up and
retrive it for
her (who is the
boss here
anyways?) We had
to put a yard
stick across the
area where you
go towards the
step down
landing to keep
that ball in the
kitchen and
prevent it from
going down the
stairs since if
you turn left
you can go down
the basement or
go straight out
the door into
the garage. She
will not go over
that yardstick,
it is so funny.
She will not go
down stairs
either, nor will
she go up them,
but she will
jump on and off
of the couch.
The kitchen
floor is that
laminated
hardwood
flooring and the
landing is too,
so she does have
a hard time with
traction, lol.
She has
discovered the
winter birds, we
have a small red
bud tree out
back where there
is a set of
steps going out
into the back
yard to Roger's
woodshop. We
hang those seed
bells there to
watch the pretty
birds and since
the doors are
the French kind,
and long, she
can see out
there just fine.
She even watches
TV, and if that
isn't funny, her
favorite channel
is the Animal
Planet. She is
completely
trained to go on
the puppy pads
and has been for
a long time. She
has her toys all
over the house
and it looks
like a toddler
lives here.
Everyone loves
her, and she is
Roger's best
buddy when it
comes a belly
rub......When he
is lying on the
couch being a
couch potato, I
tell him he is
Spud and she is
Tater
Tot...........everything
we do to her is
a 2-man job, and
that even
includes the bow
in the hair.
Trimming her
nails is
something that
only the groomer
can do since
Trixie seems to
have us fooled
into thinking
she can't be
still for a
second. When I
brush her she
has to chew on
one brush while
I use a second
brush on her
coat. We have
never regretted
making her a
member of our
family, it was
well worth the
trip to
Indiana. She
is a cutie pie."

"The pup,
Marley, is doing
great and has
adapted well to
farm life. She
is very smart,
which is a good
thing. She is
strong and very
vibrant for a
puffball that
thinks she's a
giant. Thanks
again for a
sweet pup."

Erica, Happy New
Year! I hope you
had a wonderful
holiday.
Roxy was spayed
on November 28th
and it went
well.
Everyone is
always telling
me how well bred
and beautiful
she is. We are
so happy to have
her as part of
our family. My
boyfriend and I
just got engaged
the week before
Christmas and
are in the
process of
buying a
townhouse. We
just can't wait
to buy another
dog from you and
watch our family
grow :) (As soon
as we are
settled in of
course.)
Thank you so
much for all of
the help and
support you have
given us over
the past months.
Roxy has made
our lives so
wonderful and
has filled a
place in my
heart I thought
could never be
replaced. Thank
you for
everything.
A later note:
Sorry these took
so long to get
to you. I
have been trying
to get a perfect
picture of Roxy
to send to you.
Robbie and I
have come to the
conclusion that
she just isn't
photogenic!
I know that
probably sounds
crazy but she is
soooo much cuter
in person.
I feel like the
camera just
doesn't capture
how beautiful
she is. Every
time I look at
her, I just
can't believe
how pretty she
is. Every
one who who sees
her just has to
squeeze her and
give her a kiss!
I wish I had a
better picture
to send you but
at least these
will give you an
idea of how she
looks now.
She is 5 1/2
pounds and her
coat is still
soft, shiny, and
thick. Thanks
again for such a
perfect dog.
She is such a
special part of
our lives and we
could never live
without her. We
are getting
married in July
and are hoping
to use some of
our wedding
money to buy
Roxy a brother
or sister.
We'll keep you
posted on that!
Have a Merry
Christmas!!!
Love,
Rena, Robbie,
and Roxy

"Here are
some pictures of
our little
angel. Kali
loves all of
them (the 4
other dogs).
She runs the
house. Out of
all the animals
it's our big
tomcat that she
adores. When she
sees him she
goes nuts. We
are stunned that
Sam allows her
to kiss on him
the way she
does, as he
hates all dogs.
She has been a
gift from God.
She has brought
laughter into
this house
that's been
missing since
our son went to
Iraq. He has
gotten pictures
of her and can't
wait to see her.
Thank you
so much for
allowing us the
joy of this
little girl. She
is very loved
and happy. She's
a great dog with
lots of
personality. We
love her to
pieces!
I would
recommend you to
anyone looking
for a Yorkie.
Take care and I
will keep in
Touch. "

Hi Erica, I just wanted to drop you a line about Verde, who's now named Sammy. He is doing great.
The Vet assistant said that he was the best looking Yorkie she has seen in the 7 years she's worked there. Of course we think he's beautiful as well. He is a happy, healthy, sturdy, loving, wonderful little dog and we couldn't be happier. My neighbors babysat him for a day and thought he was just a great dog. They thought little dogs were hyper. Sammy isn't hyper at all, he's just so much fun. And they are "big dog" people!!! When I take him with to Petsmart, people always come up to me and want to pet him, and say how cute he is etc. And not just kids the adults too. Potty training is going great, he's only had 1 accident in the past 2 weeks., and that was our fault, not his! Thanks for breeding such a great puppy.

"Hi
Erica, Bailey's
doing really
well. Everyone
that spends time
around him says,
"he's the cutest
puppy I've ever
seen." We're
really happy
with him, he's
just so happy
and playful.
We're going to
start doing
obedience
classes in a
couple of weeks,
and he's doing
really well with
his
housetraining
and other little
training
things.
Anyway, he's
doing great and
we love him a
lot. He gets
quite a bit of
attention since
we don't have
any kids or
anything. Here's
a picture, and
I'll send a
couple more
soon. Thanks
again for
everything!"

"We really
love Zoe and she
is our little
princess. She
and our other
dog are best
buddies and
play. She is
getting silver
in her hair now
and is going to
be beautiful.
Potty training
is going well.
She is a great
pup and overall
we think she is
the
tops...........Thanks
again."

"Just
wanted to send
you a follow up
thank you for
our dog- who in
November
will be a year
old! I have been
so lazy in
bringing you
pictures of him-
I
will have to
work on that. He
has a great
personality, and
is super
spoiled!
He goes
EVERYWHERE we do
and everyone is
amazed at how
well behaved he
is."

Hi, Erica! Max
went on his
first motor home
trip with us
last week. He
loved the
beach! He was
digging so deep
that his butt
was sticking
straight up. He
is a very
lovable little
guy. He is
growing so fast
and learning so
much. He is
pretty much
potty trained on
the puppy
pads. I taught
him to sit, lay,
dance, stay,
fetch, and
give. I am now
working on "give
me five" and
heel. As you
can tell, he is
very, very
smart, and can
also be a little
naughty when he
wants his way.
He is on the
B.A.R.F. diet
and loves the
food, especially
raw beef bones,
which he hides
in the yard and
house. We have
certainly
already fallen
in love with him
in just one
month and
couldn't imagine
life without
him. We are
sure our Yorkie,
Buddy that
passed away on
June 1st sent
Max to us to
bring joy in our
lives again.
Erica, thanks
for breeding
such wonderful
puppies!

"It has been
almost seven
months since we
adopted Rusty.
I promised I
would drop you a
note and send
some photos of
our number 1
Yorkie! We
have fallen in
love with him.
He is the best
little guy.
He gets tons of
love and we have
taught him to
lie down, roll
over and sit.
My daughter
Abigail is the
chief care
taker. She
just loves
Rusty! We
have found a
wonderful
groomer and
vet.
We just want
you to know that
we will never
get any other
breed.
Yorkshire
Terriers are the
best.
Crate training
went well.
He's out all day
but we prefer to
crate him at
night. He
usually begins
the night in my
five year old,
Samuel's bed.
Thanks you so
much for the
addition you've
given to our
family.
You need not
worry about him
being loved!
He's thriving
well."

Hello Erica.
Hope all is
going well with
you and your
family. It has
been awhile
since I have
emailed you and
just wanted to
check out your
web site and see
the puppies. I
sent this
picture of
Trixie awhile
back and it is
probably the one
I love the best
although I have
more that are
just as
precious. She is
doing well and
has been in good
health. I do not
think we have
loved any pet as
much as we love
her. She is
pampered daily.
She is very
smart and
playful.
In May I
fractured my
foot and was off
of work for 8
weeks and she
and I spent
pretty much all
of that time
together. She is
like a shadow,
and no matter
where we go in
this house, she
is right there
too. I have not
had to take her
to the vet in
quite some time
since she is
current with all
of her shots and
checkups, but I
would say she
weighs around 5
pounds now. She
has lost baby
teeth and she
eats well.
I mentioned how
smart she is,
well if you get
out her collar
and leash she
knows we are
going outside
and she will sit
at the French
window in the
kitchen and bark
at us if we
leave her in the
house. Trixie will
jump up and down
from the couch
and the chairs
in the living
room, but will
not go down the
steps from the
decks to the
yard. I do not
know why she is
fearful of them,
but I told Roger
he might have to
build her a
little ramp.
Needless to say,
she still goes
potty on her
puppy pads, and
that is fine
with me. I will
not chance some
big bird getting
my dog. We also
have coyotes in
this county and
that would be
another reason
for being
cautious.
There is not a
day goes by that
she does not do
something to
make us laugh.
She can shred a
paper towel or
napkin faster
than anything,
and what a mess,
lol. A few weeks
I went out to
the mailbox and
got side tracked
doing something
in the garage, I
came in the
house and she
was just sitting
in the kitchen
like she had
been waiting for
me. When I went
to go into the
hallway, oh my,
you should have
seen what she
had done, and
evidently she
had had quite a
ball,
literally...she
had gotten a
ball of baby
yarn out of a
bag I had
sitting on the
floor and that
yarn was strung
everywhere from
one end of the
hall into the
living room and
back to the
bedroom. I said
to her, "Oh
Trixie what have
you done to
Mommy's ball of
yarn?" She just
sat there all
innocent and
all. I never
realized there
was so much yarn
in a ball, lol.
It is still a
mess, in a bag
and it will take
hours to
untangle. It was
my fault, I
should have
confined her to
the kitchen when
I went out. When
Roger came
home from work
he picked her up
and said, "Oh my
little girl
would never do
something like
that." We both
got a good laugh
out of that
little episode.
I wish I would
have taken a
picture of that.
I could go on
for hours about
her, we love her
so much. Next
month she will
be one year old.
I do not regret
our purchase
from you. When I
took her to the
groomers, she
had 5 yorkies to
work on today,
and I have to
say that our
little girl was
the prettiest
one of the
bunch. Roxie
told me that her
daughter came
down to her shop
and sat and held
my dog and told
her mom she
wanted to keep
her. There has
not been one
person to come
here who hasn't
commented on
what a sweetie
pie she is. I
guess I will
continue to
admire your
other puppies as
time goes by.
Take care, and
God bless you
and your family,
Susanne :)

Hi Erica...I just wanted to say thanks for the puppy pen idea. It is working well. We still have a few accidents now and then, but that's to be expected, and he did actually go to the door once tonight...YAY!! We are definitely making progress. He is getting along well with everyone, and his personality is coming out even more. He's so playful, and has a few toys that he can't go without, but he will sit in my lap forever, too. His shyness is definitely gone. We really enjoy watching him run around the house. Everyone at work LOVES him. He is getting spoiled. We're still thinking on his name...we would like to see his personality for a while before we decide, but it's not easy :) We are just so happy with him! He's had his 3rd distemper/parvo vaccine, and will be getting rabies soon, then it's off to puppy classes! I'm sure he'll have a blast. He listens very well, and comes running as soon as he hears his name. He's great for his baths, and he'll lay on his back in my lap and let me trim his nails. Thanks again for our little man. He's definitely been lots of fun!! Thanks again.
Kim and Cody from North Carolina
p.s. I sent a picture of him and our cat Shelby at the water dish together.
